First, let's verify what version of ESET you have by opening ESET. There are multiple ways to do this -Method 1:Click on Finder, select Applications folder, and double click ESET from the list of Apps. Method 2:Click on the ESET icon from the top menu bar and select Open ESET Cyber Security. Once the ESET program window is open, note the product version (1) at the top left. You will also see your license validity at the bottom of the screen (2).NOTE: If you renew ESET prior to expiration, it will extend on to your existing license's time remaining. If there is an option for it, you can click on "Renew License" on the Home screen of ESET. Otherwise, visit https://www.microcenter.com/site/stores/eset-renew.aspx to start the renewal process.On this renewal page, click on Mac OS to start the renewal of ESET for your Mac! You will select which version of ESET you want to purchase. I recommend checking the chart at https://www.eset.com/us/home/for-mac/ to see the difference with ESET to make an informed decision on which version you want. Click Add to Cart on the amount of years & devices you are looking to cover. Follow through the steps for checkout. Now that you have purchased the ESET renewal, you will need to activate the new license. You will get an email from Micro Center that will have a license key as shown in the picture below. Copy the license key.Now we need to go back to the ESET program, just like we opened the ESET at the beginning of this guide, and then select Help on the left side, then select Manage License. Now you will see on the left side I have a License Key. Type or paste the license key here and select Activate. Enter in the key with all letters, numbers and dashes. Next, you will need to register your license key. This requires filling in a form that includes your name, phone number, email address, and address - Company address and Address 2 are not required fields, but the other fields are all required. This is a two-page process. Once you fill out the information on the first page, select Continue to complete the second page. After you finish filling out information on the second page, select Register. You are all set! Your ESET product for Mac is now activated.
