If your microphone is not working on your Windows 10 PC, make sure microphone access is enabled on your PC. You can also enable/disable microphone access for specific applications (programs) on your PC as well through Windows Settings.Here is how to check those settings:1. Right click on the Start button, typically found at the lower left corner of the screen, then click on Settings. 2. From the Settings pop-up window that appears, click on Privacy. 3. From the left side of the Privacy Settings window, click on Microphone. 4. On the Microphone settings page, if "Microphone access for this device is off" is shown, click on Change. On the pop-up window for "Microsoft access for this device", click the slider to turn this On. 5. Now you will see a list of applications/programs that can use your microphone. It is organized in two categories. The first category is for apps from the Microsoft store may be changed one by one to either On or Off. Any changes are made automatically. 6. The second option here is for all desktop apps to access your microphone. These would be for apps/programs not downloaded/installed from the Microsoft Store. This may be only turned On or Off overall.
